		<description>Amen.  Ever since I first read Emerson and Thoreau in my adolescence, I understood what they were saying about the moral benefits of spending time in nature.

Even before that, growing up in the woods of Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan - I felt so many indescribable sensations that were at once more sophisticated and more simple than anything I learned in school.

Now - living in Istanbul - I give thanks that I have a huge park just 2 minutes from my door.  But I long for the times that I can get out of the city to really open areas and just breathe.

Thanks for the reminder that I need to do this more often.
